David Fischer Testarossa Autodrive is a track which has accompanied me for many years now and so it seemed the right decision to have this as my 700th bandcamp purchase! While I can basically feel and smell the Testarossa seats whilst listening to this track, the rest of the EP unfortunately falls short of its standard in comparison, with Testarossa Nightdrive being the exception. Ultimately though, Testarossa Autodrive on its own is reason enough to buy this EP - and that is quite the accomplishment! Favorite track: Testarossa Autodrive.

kmxexii The birth of Kavinsky's legend of the dead cruiser. "Testarossa Autodrive" eventually found its way onto his LP, "Outrun", but you'll find some '06 curios on here, including "Autodrive" remixes from Mr. Oizo and Arpanet, the latter having a dance / horror vibe. "The Crash" is sort of historic, dramatizing Kavinsky's birth, but - along with "Transistor" - is more of a fragment than anything substantial. "Testarossa Nightdrive" is my fave, a dark re-take of "Autodrive"'s outrun. Favorite track: Testarossa Nightdrive.
